Coco Chanel’s philosophy on accessorizing was simple. “Before you leave the house,” she once famously quipped, “look in the mirror and take one thing off.”

Style maven Nicholas Wasserberger eschews Chanel’s advice.

The beard, he observes, “is the current, hip accessory for men,” so why not treat it as such? “There’s no reason to just let it hang there, lifeless.”
